What type of shaped steel is used for the steel structure columns?
The steel specifications used for steel structure columns under different loads are different, and there is also a significant difference between commonly used H-steel and round steel. However, steel pipes, H-shaped steel, or box shaped steel are generally used instead of concrete columns, which have the characteristics of light weight, small cross-section, simple construction, and short construction period.
The columns of the steel structure attic can be made of two materials
1. Square steel is commonly used in 10 * 10, 15 * 15, 20 * 20, 25 * 25, 30 * 30, and so on.
2. H-shaped steel is commonly used for 100 * 100, 125 * 125, 150 * 150, 125 * 250, 200 * 200, 250 * 250, and so on. The column span of the steel structure attic is 6 meters, and a larger bearing capacity would be better. It is best to use H-shaped steel or square steel 200 * 200, 250 * 250, and the specific mechanical analysis should be determined based on the actual situation of the site and usage environment.
Installation method for steel structure columns
1. Before lifting the steel column, the anchor bolts should be protected with conical protective sleeves to prevent collision with screws and damage to threads during lifting. Use the single machine lifting and rotating method of a car crane to lift the steel structure columns.
2. Before lifting the column, a horizontal line should be drawn 1000mm above the bottom plate of the column to control the horizontal elevation of the steel structural column before and after installation and fixation. Pop out the centerline on both sides along the height direction of the column to control the verticality of the column body before and after installation.
3. After the steel structure column is in place, tighten the anchor bolts of the column base in a timely manner with a wrench, and fix the steel column around it with a cable wind rope before loosening the hook of the crane to prevent it from tipping over.
4. Correction of steel columns in steel structure factory buildings. Mainly correct the verticality and elevation of steel structure columns. Two theodolites were used for measurement. Firstly, place the theodolite on one side of the column, aligning the longitudinal axis with the baseline of the column base, and then fix the screws of the horizontal dial.
