What should be paid attention to in the construction of steel structure factory?
Steel structure has played a pivotal role in the construction field. Although it is not as good as reinforced concrete buildings, its role in the construction industry is becoming more and more important. Whether in industrial buildings or civil buildings, steel structures are rapidly occupying a growing market due to their outstanding features. So, what are the things that need special attention when building a steel structure factory?
First, heat insulation and fire prevention. Steel has high thermal conductivity. When the temperature reaches 500°C, the strength of steel will drop to a very low level, resulting in the collapse of the steel structure workshop. Therefore, when the ambient temperature of the steel structure building reaches above 150°C, heat insulation and fire protection design must be done.
Second, the roof system of the steel structure factory. It should be determined according to the span, height, column grid layout, roof structure, crane tonnage and seismic fortification intensity of the area. There are two commonly used methods for steel structure workshop roofs.
- Rigid roof: double-layer color-pressed steel plate sandwiched with insulation cotton.
- Composite flexible roof: It is composed of the inner panel of roof color steel plate, air barrier layer, insulation layer, and coil waterproof layer.
Third, temperature expansion joints. Temperature changes will cause deformation of steel structure factory buildings, and temperature expansion joints should be set in both vertical and horizontal directions of the factory building. The method of setting double columns is used to deal with it, and the rolling support can be set at the roof truss support for the longitudinal temperature expansion joint.
Fourth, anti-corrosion treatment. When the environment where the steel structure workshop is located, there are corrosive media, and the corrosion of the steel structure factory building will be aggravated. Generally, the anticorrosion of steel structures often adopts antirust primers and topcoats, and the number and thickness of coating layers are often determined according to the environment in which they are used and the nature of the coating.
