Roof support system and roof design of prefabricated industrial shed
The layout of the roof support system of the metal sheet prefabricated industrial shed shall be determined according to the plant span, height, column grid layout, roof structure form, crane tonnage, seismic fortification intensity of the area, etc. For factories with roof truss spacing not less than 12m, or factories with super heavy bridge cranes or factories with large vibration equipment, longitudinal horizontal support shall be provided. At present, there are two common methods of steel structure roof:
- Rigid roof: double-layer color profiled steel plate with insulation cotton inside.
- Composite flexible roof: it is composed of roof color steel plate inner plate, air insulation layer, thermal insulation layer and coiled material waterproof layer.
Setting of temperature expansion joint
The temperature change will cause the deformation of the steel structure factory and cause the temperature stress of the structure. When the plane scale of the factory is large, temperature expansion joints shall be set in the vertical and horizontal directions of the factory to avoid large temperature stress. The length of the section can be implemented according to the steel structure specification. The temperature expansion joint is generally treated by setting double columns. For the longitudinal temperature expansion joint, the rolling bearing can be set at the roof truss support.
